TouristMobile - The Company The TouristMobile GmbH was established in summer 2002 as a service provider for a global, mobile touristic information platform in Innsbruck. The central aim is the development and operation of a powerful platform, which meets the requirements of the new mobile generation. The ever-growing number of mobile phone users, the usage behaviour and the increasingly powerful mobile phones make up a very special challenge. Complex client - server applications and simple SMS and MMS-based information services dominate the market today. 2005 the decision to bring our own telecommunications products on the market as a pan-European alternative operator was made. Since April 2007 the first TouristMobile SIM card is on the market.
